Robert J. Auer, Sr., 85, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was born on October 7, 1935 in South Bend to the late Joseph and Ila (Schaffer) Auer.
Robert worked as operations manager for United Airlines retiring in 1995 after 39 years. On September 21, 1980 he married Nancy Brown who survives. Robert is also survived by his sons, Robert Auer Jr. of Mishawaka, Douglas (Patty) Auer of Hastings, MI., and Todd Auer of Fort Myers, FL.
