Robert Farrell Harwell, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in the Belleview Community on July 7, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, TN.Mr. Harwell was born January 8, 1939, in the McBurg Community to the late Berry Brown Harwell and Frances Katherine Harwell. He attended Boonshill High School and was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Germany. Farrell worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Coach Stevenson, CFW Construction, TVA and Roads & Grounds at Redstone Arsenal.He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Janice Little Harwell of Fayetteville; sisters, Mary Ann Brewer of Fayetteville, Maudie Foster of Pulaski, Ruby Twyman of Fayetteville; brother, Carroll Wayne (Linda) Harwell of Shelbyville; sister-in-law, Dena (Jimmy) Kincaid of Fayetteville; brothers-in-law, Mike (Jan) Little of Old Hickory, and Tim Sheppard of Colorado Springs, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Farrell was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Harwell Brewer; and brothers, Harold Harwell, Claiborne Harwell, Donald Harwell, Billy Harwell, Walter Frank Harwell.Graveside service will be Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Wright's Cemetery (Highway 64 West) with Justin Harwell, Jason Little, and Sarah Beth McPherson conducting the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the Hayden's Hope, P O Box 241, Fayetteville, TN 37334.Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Robert Farrell Harwell.
