Robert Samuel Flint, 90, passed away at his home on Newark Street in Newark, Vermont on July 31, 2022.
He was born May 14, 1932, the son of Burton Flint and Bertha (Green) Flint. He was married to Natalie Flint, and they spent many happy years together.
Early in his life Robert attended trade school for carpentry which began his lifelong passion of building. This led Robert to open a machine shop called, Aero Kinetics, in Manchester, Connecticut. Robert's business subcontracted for Pratt and Whitney making gauges for jet engines. He was known for remodeling old houses and building new ones, his woodworking, and furniture making. His friends and acquaintances would wait years for Robert to build or create something for them to enjoy. His workmanship was admired and appreciated by all. His main hobby outside of woodworking, was playing a round or two of golf.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, a brother, and his sister.
Robert is survived by his son, Richard Flint, and his wife, Franchet. He is also survived by Franchet's daughter, France Donna, and her husband Kevin Doyle.
