On Friday, December 2, 2022, Robert DeLuca, 72, went home to God due to a tragic pedestrian accident. Robert "Bob" DeLuca was born on January 4, 1950, in Manchester, NH to Dominic and Celia DeLuca. In his early years, he lived in Manchester and graduated from Manchester Central in 1968. He later moved to Hooksett where he lived a quiet and very simple life. Bob loved the Lord. He loved his family. He loved trains. He loved the railroad. He loved movies and music. Bob also loved walking! He enjoyed walks to St. Anselm's College where he would visit the Abbey, to Concord to visit the railroad, and his daily walks to and from the market. Bob enjoyed walking in the morning, noon, and night. He enjoyed walks on stormy winter days, illuminating fall days, and his favorite walks on hot and humid summer days! When given the choice to take his car or walk, he always chose the latter. Bob will be missed dearly. He was loved deeply. He will live on in our hearts and footsteps forever. Bob is now in heaven with his parents, Dominic and Celia, and his two brothers, Joseph and Dominic Jr. He is survived by his sister-in-love, Mary T. DeLuca of Spring Hill, Florida. His niece, Maryann Boucher, her husband, Michael, and their two sons, Cameron and Connor of Manchester, NH. His nephew Joseph DeLuca, his wife Julie DeLuca, and their two sons Alexander and Douglas of Windham, NH. His nephew Dr. James DeLuca, his wife Mandy, and their 4 daughters, Audrey, Celia, Helena, and Annalie of Spring Hill, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10th at 10:30 am at St. Catherine's of Siena in Manchester. Burial will follow at St Joseph's Cemetery in Bedford.
