Robert was married 2 times. His first wife was Sandra Kay Umstead they were married in 1965 and divorced in 1976, they were married 11 years.
He married his second wife Maria Muniz 1976 until his death, Robert and Maria were married 39 years.
He was a retired wastewater engineer.
Robert was preceded in death by his Mother Mildred Grace Petre Culmer and his father Russell Wayne Culmer.
He was dianogised with Parkinson's disease and he lived with the disease for years.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Culmer. His sons, Steven Mark and David Andrew Culmer. 2 brothers, Larry and Bruce Culmer. A half son, Robert Wayne Culmer. Adopted son, Ralphael Culmer. 3 grandsons, RJ, Ritchie Young, and Aramis Culmer. 1 granddaughter, Alexis Marie Culmer. 3 Nieces, Annette, Adrienne and Crystal Culmer.
