Robert Richard Cortese was born on October 18, 1945 in Revere, Massachusetts and passed away surrounded by those who loved him deeply on the morning of August 28, 2024 at his home in Raymond, New Hampshire after a long and hard fought battle against cancer. The middle child of Rudolph and Mary Cortese, Bob spent his early days doing what kids do best - causing trouble. He met the love of his life, Jane, on the corner of Wyoming Ave when they were in high school at the local after school hangout spot, Greg's. They got married 5 years later on October 20, 1968 and began their family soon after. Bob was one of the hardest working men you'd ever meet. He dedicated much of his life to his career in commercial HVAC, with the soul desire of providing for his family. He was a proud 60 year member of the Local 17, as well as the community boards of both his neighborhoods in NH and FL. Bob was a family man, and although he despised public displays of affection, you knew you were loved by him when he showed up and provided for you. Bob and Jane traveled the world together, and in later years spent winters in Florida hanging out by the pool. Robert was met at the gates of Heaven by his mother and father, baby sister Marilyn, and sister-in-law, Carol. Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane, and their two children Christine Mulholland and Charlene Moedebeck; grandchildren Mary Miller, Shannon Mulholland, Madelyn and Mathew Moedebeck; great grandchild Benjamin Miller; big brother James Cortese and his wife Diane Cortese; and sister and brother-in-law Jim Whitaker and Judy Salvanelli. He also leaves behind his beloved 8 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews.
