Robert Duncan Corser died peacefully of natural causes in Pittsfield, MA on November 20, 2021.
He was born on January 23, 1931 in Great Barrington, MA to Linwood Corser and Ruth Sheldon Corser of New Marlborough, and was preceded in death by his brother Donald Corser.
Robert grew up on the family farm on County Road in New Marlborough and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with the help of an ROTC scholarship. He worked mainly in public health activities and served for over twenty years in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Corser resided in Ohio and Florida before returning to Massachusetts in the late 1990's.
He is survived by an only child, Robert J. Corser, his spouse Ann Huppert and their son William Corser, all of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by long-time partner Antonia Arlos of Pittsfield.
A memorial service is planned for the spring of 2022 when he will be buried alongside his parents in New Marlborough.
