Chris had a strong faith in God and a passion for outdoors. He dearly enjoyed his time spent at his camp in Centreville, Mississippi, where he taught his children the importance of family values and shared his appreciation for hunting, fishing, and loving every day. Chris had a passion for cooking. He was an amazing cook, and no one could beat his boiled crawfish, football burgers, and jambalaya. He could come up with 100 different ways of how deer meat could be prepared. He loved to fish in his backyard and catch all the crappie in the lake. He was not happy if someone was in his special fishing hole, before he got there. He gave the best advice and he was a wonderful listener. Chris was a history buff and loved to watch military movies. Some of his favorite movies were Band of Brothers, Forest Gump and Top Gun. Chris had a huge heart that was filled with his family, friends, and his love for his precious dogs Buster, Boudreaux and Blaze.
Chris started his nursing career in Baton Rouge, LA at Earl K Long. After Earl K Long closed, Chris and his family moved to Jackson, MS, where he worked at St. Dominic Hospital as a Cath lab and EP Director. He valued his work family and all of those that he came in close contact with. He was a very hard working, knowledgeable, and compassionate man. He had a heart for service and a strong desire to make a positive difference in everyone's lives.
