Robert Bennett Butler - July 27, 1943 -- January 14, 2021; Robert Bennett Butler, 77, of Marietta, Georgia, died unexpectedly on January 14, 2021 of covid-19 related complications. Robert was born July 27, 1943, in Macon, Georgia to Doyle and Sarah (Fountain) Butler. He enjoyed fishing, collecting guns, HAM radio communications and volunteering with the Red Cross of Georgia.
He is survived by his children, Doyle Scott Butler and Valerie Lynn Williamson; his brother Charlie Butler and their spouses, a nephew and granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Sarah Butler. At his request, a private family service will be held but donations may be made to the Red Cross of Georgia to help others in need at www.redcross.org/local/georgia/ways-to-donate.html
