Robert Brenner, born in Lake Zurich, Illinois on November 29, 1938, died on April 12, 2022 at the age of 83, in Big Sandy, Texas of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Arlene Gail Brenner. He is survived by his son, Robert Brenner of Gilmer, Texas, his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Brenner of Gilmer, Texas, his daughter, Karen Brenner of Wills Point, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Robert, or "Bob" as he was known by his friends, spent his early years as a route delivery driver and truck driver in Chicago, Illinois then Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He owned and operated a salvage yard and used car lot in Jonesville, Michigan for many years. He continued truck driving while living in West Manchester, Ohio for several years. Later, he sold trailers in Quincy, Michigan before moving to Texas to be near family. Those who knew his were quickly stuck by his gregarious personality. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger, had a great sense of humor, and always has a story to tell. He was buried next to his wife at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan on April 19, 2022
