Robert Alexander Bosque was born November 5, 1929 in Corsicana, TX to Jesse Edward Bosque and Fannie Mae Bosque. Bob passed away on October 10, 2018 in Savannah, GA. He married the love of his life, Jan Wimberly Bosque on June 9, 1953 in Port St Joe, FL and celebrated 52 years of marriage. He was a flight engineer in the USAF and was involved in the Korean War, Berlin Air Lift, Vietnam and many other operations all over the world. Bob retired from the Air Force in 1968 and the family moved from Oklahoma City, OK to Savannah, GA where he worked for Gulfstream for several years before creating his own aviation consulting firm and moved to Dallas, TX. His aviation business allowed Bob and Jan to travel the world making friends where ever they were. After a long career in Dallas, they retired to the Georgia coast in McIntosh County. Bob is preceded in death by his beloved wife Jan, his parents Jesse and Fannie Mae, sister La Jean and uncle Robert. He is survived by his sons Robert Jr. (Amy), Jeffery (Becky) and Christopher (Kathy). Bob is also survived by eight grandchildren Matthew, Austin, Alley,
Tyler, Justin, Meredith, Elizabeth and Drew; brother-in-law George Wimberly, brother-in-law Clifford (Sherry) Wimberly and many nieces and nephews. Bob will be buried with military honors in the family cemetery in Port St Joe, FL at a later date. The family would like to thank Rita Slatus and the staff at Buckingham South for the outstanding care and wonderful love they gave Bob over the past three years.
