Robert "Bob" E. Elliott, 78, went to our Lord on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. He was born in Arizona and had lived in McAllen for many years. Bob worked at Boggus Ford for many years and Bert Ogden as a comptroller before retiring. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, a proud Eagle Scout, active in American Legion Post 37 and an active Rotarian. Bob was an avid Texas Tech fan, devoted pet owner and enjoyed fowl hunting and fishing. He centered himself in caring for our community and country and enjoyed traveling. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Ana and William Elliott and a brother, Edwin Elliott from Henderson, Nevada. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Carm Rivas Elliott and his brother, Gordon Elliott from Tucson, Arizona. A visitation will be held at Kreidler Funeral Home on Thursday, December 9, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the Rosary being read at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 10th with inurnment to follow at the Donna City Cemetery.
