Rita Mittal was the heart of her family — a woman whose warmth, quiet strength, and unshakable values shaped the lives of all who knew her. Born in 1956, she grew up in a world where grace, duty, and perseverance were quietly instilled, and she embodied these virtues every step of the way.
A devoted wife, Rita stood steadfastly beside her husband through life’s highs and lows. When he was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), she became his sole caregiver for many years — caring for him with extraordinary patience, love, and resilience, until his passing in 2015. Even as she bore the physical and emotional toll of this responsibility, she never wavered.
But perhaps her greatest legacy lies in her role as a mother. Rita dedicated her life to raising her two daughters, nurturing them not just with love but with wisdom and strength. She taught them to stand tall, to be independent, and to hold close the values that defined her own life — integrity, compassion, and the importance of family.
For Rita, relationships were sacred. She believed deeply in investing time and energy into the people who mattered, creating a home where everyone felt seen, supported, and loved. Her presence had a calming, grounding effect — a quiet confidence that never needed to shout to be felt.
Rita Mittal’s life was not about grand gestures or accolades; it was about the silent power of showing up, day after day, with love and grace. Her absence leaves a profound void, but her spirit lives on in the family she shaped, the values she instilled, and the countless moments of warmth she leaves behind.
