Rita Lou McClanahan, age 77, born August 4, 1945 and entered the gates of Heaven on October 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by father and mother: Dave and Esta Butler, 8 brothers, and 4 sisters. She was a member of Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Walland, TN. She is survived by husband of 59 years: Richard McClanahan, sons: Eddie (Tanya) McClanahan and Tony McClanahan, grandchildren: Amanda (Travis) Cotten, Whitney McClanahan, and Lauren McClanahan, great grandchildren: Macie Cotten and Lincoln James, several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 24, 2022, at Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
