Tanya Mae (Heybeck) Merritt, age 68, a resident of the Ocala Forest area for 20 years, passed away peacefully, Sunday May 7, 2023 at Estelle's Hospice House. She was born August 23, 1954, in Union City, PA. The daughter of the late Albert Raymond Heybeck, and her mother Nancy Ellen (Long) Dearbeck still surviving at age 88. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Rick Allen Merritt, her son Robb Allen Merritt and a daughter Angela J. Perez who had her only grandchild Naomi Ki Perez who resides in Ocklawaha, FL. She is also survived by her 2 sisters Jennie Lynn Caldwell (Charles), and Stacey Ann Bedow.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Florida Cremation Society Ocala, FL.
Family will have a private memorial service in her honor at a later date.
