Rick Boeder

Golden resident Rick Boeder died Friday at CU's Anschutz Medical Campus. Cause of death was septicemia.

Mr. Boeder is survived by his spouse Lynn Schwalm; sister Kim, 66; sister Sherrie, 70, & various nieces & nephews.

Born in West Allis, WI, he worked for Joslins dept. store as a buyer in the early 1970s, then lived in Aspen, & since returning to Denver in 1990, has worked as an IT systems specialist at CU's Auraria campus.

Mr. Boeder was an avid supporter of the CSO & other downtown Denver arts organizations, including various jazz clubs.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Crested Butte, CO, which he considered a second home in recent years.
