Richard Warren, 88, of Hooksett passed October 12, 2021 after a brief illness. Born May 28, 1933 in Manchester, he was the son of Thomas and Agnes (McDonald) Warren. Richard was a graduate of both Manchester West (where he played baseball and basketball) and St. Anselm College. After deciding that teaching was not for him, he worked many years with the Department of Employment Security until his retirement. Richard was an avid golfer and a long time member at Candia Woods. One of his fondest accomplishments was winner the Woody Cup. He loved to read and listen to classical music. He was an animal lover and enjoyed feeding birds from his deck. He loved family holiday parties. He will be dearly missed. Richard was pre-deceased by his wife Lillian (Clang) and his brothers Thomas, Harry and James. He is survived by daughter Shirley Papavlo of Loudon, her daughters Robin and Tammy and their families. A daughter Priscilla Lambert of Manchester, her son Wayne and daughters Cheryl and Sharon. A son Brian Duplessis of Hooksett and his sons Noah and Nathan. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM Saturday October 23, 2021 at St Raphael's Parrish, 103 Walker St, Manchester followed by a committal at St Joseph's cemetery, Bedford.
