Richard J. Tynan, 79, of Allenstown, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Concord Hospital with his family by his side.
Born on June 1, 1942 in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Margery (McLeod) Tynan.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Marines before returning home and working as a United truck driver for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, traveling for work, hanging out with his marine and truck driving friends and he had a great love for dogs.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, John R. Tynan in 2019, two brothers, David Tynan and Joseph Tynan, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Daley) Tynan of Allenstown with whom he shared 57 years with, daughter, Barbara Cameron of Allenstown, son, Frank Tynan of Allenstown, twin brother, Ronald J. Tynan, grandson, Andrew Cameron, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 1PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. The Roan Family Funeral Home in Pembroke is assisting the family with arrangements. To share a memory or offer condolences please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
