Richard Gerald "Rick" Paradise, 67, previously of Manchester, NH and Goffstown, NH, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born on October 19, 1955 in Manchester, NH, the son of the late Gerald Paradis and the late Theresa (Petrin) Chartrain.
He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Denise (Poisson) Paradise.
Rick was raised and educated in Manchester, NH. He loved ice fishing, playing poker and cribbage and listening to music. He was an avid hunter and competitive pool player. Above all else, Rick was a family man and especially cherished time spent with his loved ones.
In addition to his wife, Denise, Rick is survived by his sons, Derek Paradise and Greg Paradise and his wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Trevor, Aiden, Evan, Belle and Joseph; great grandson, Sam; siblings, Linda Goudreault and her husband, Edward, Diane Tremblay and her husband, Dave, Debbie Paradis and Robert Paradis and his wife, Michelle; and several nieces and nephews.
Rick was predeceased by his parents, as well as, his brother, Ronald "Rolo" Paradis and his granddaughter, Aurora Paradise.
Rick's family would like to extend a special thank you to nurse Kim with the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire for the outstanding care she provided to Rick and their local volunteer fire department who provided excellent service in their times of need.
SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 10:00AM - 11:00AM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A service will follow at 11:00AM with Reverend Maurice Larochelle officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Monastery of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
