Richard A. Page passed away on January 1, 2021 at the age of 84.
He lived with a joyful, positive attitude and was successful in work and life as a great person.
He loved golf, gardening, seafood and a good bowl of ice cream.
Richard was born and grew up in Bangor ME. He attended Bangor schools and Springfield College.
In his early years, he worked in family owned businesses including Page Answering Service, Bangor Letter shop, Page employment agency.
He then served his country in the US Navy for 6 years in a carrier based anti submarine warfare helicopter squadron.
After military life, he worked in Finance for over 30 years in New England, Florida and New Jersey.
Upon retirement, he kept busy with volunteerism in Director roles for the Salvation Army, Girl Scouts of America and the Foodbank.
He came out of 'retirement' and worked again as a Tax examiner for the IRS, H&R Block and Tax representative for numerous plumbing companies. He was also a chauffeur for Arrow Limousine Company. Upon his wife's passing, he and his son Michael retired to Beaufort SC.
He is the son of C. Everett and Vivienne Page (pre-deceased).
He was married to Irene Lukas (pre-deceased in 2010) and his son Michael Page, (pre-deceased in 2020).
He is survived by his sister Sandra Page (Hampden, ME); by his sister-in law Nancy Podell (Clark, NJ); cousins, nieces, nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews.
