passed away suddenly on the Tuesday, the 19th of April 2022 at his residence in Brownsville, Texas. He was sixty-one years of age.
Richard was born on February 21, 1961 in Brownsville, Texas, son of Jesus Olivares and Angelina Paredes Olivares. As an avid sports fanatic, Richard enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. His other favorite pastimes included fishing, visiting the beach, and barbequing, but most of all, singing. Richard will always be remembered for his charming and funny personality by all of those fortunate enough to have known him.
Preceding Richard in death were his parents, Jesus and Angelina "Angie" Paredes Olivares; and his twin brother, Robert "Bobby" Olivares.
Survivors include his son, Richard Olivares, Jr.; his daughter, Jessica Olivares Dennes (Albert); his grandson, Albert El?as Dennes; his granddaughter on the way, Baby Girl Dennes; his sisters, Rosalinda "Rosie" Olivares-Hugonnett (Joe) and Graciela "Gracie" Olivares (Alyse Duffer); and his niece, Victoria Alexandra Sosa.
Visiting hours will be held tomorrow, Friday, the 22nd of April 2022 between the hours of five o'clock in the afternoon and seven o'clock in the evening, with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at six o'clock tomorrow evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. In accordance with Richard's wishes, his cremated remains will be scattered on South Padre Island.
In lieu of floral arrangements and customary remembrances, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
