He left this world to be with his heavenly father. No more pain and suffering. He left behind his wife of 38 years, Belinda Dickerson Goings; his two children, Hannah Hoffmann and friend Mike, and Ethan Goings and his friend Marissa; two grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Capri Butcher and Willow Hoffmann; his mother, Thelma Goings; sister and brother-in-law, Stormie and Andy Maneval; brothers, Joey Goings, and Harry "Tiger" Goings and wife Evelyn; his mother-in-law, Lupe Dickerson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Billy Dickerson and wife Ginger; three nephews, Chastin Dickerson and wife Hannah, Chaz Dickerson and wife Taylor, and Aaron Maneval; two nieces, Raven Beck and Emily Maneval; two great-nieces, Aria Dickerson and Nora Dickerson; one great-nephew, Bash Dickerson; many aunts and uncles; and many special friends. His life was full of love from his family. May God hold him in his arms on his journey home. A service of worship and celebration was held on Friday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at Granite City Church with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating. The family will be gathering at the home of his son, Ethan Goings. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Goings family.
