Richard, Age 85, passed away peacefully with the lord and family by his side on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home in Everett, WA. He was born on November 3, 1935 at home in Snohomish, WA to Dave and Josephine Walt.
On October 8, 1955 he married his Everett High School Sweetheart Estelle Gregory. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time with his family and taking short road trips. His hobbies included motorcycles, racing pigeons, wood working, making train villages and communicating on a ham radio. He made a living working far Foss Tugs, then as a machinist, and a mechanic. After 20 years he retired from Lynnwood Honda.
Dick was preceded in death by his oldest son Rick. He is survived by Estelle, his beloved wife of 65 years. Brother Gary (Marilyn), Son Terry (Patti), Grandchildren Jan, Tony, Randal and Andrew. Great-grandson Taylor. Daughter Teresa (Scott) Aho. Grandchildren Tyler and Morgan, Great Grandson Aiden, Granddaughter Jennifer Walt (Baker), Great-grandchildren Kaileah and Macaelah. Grandson Christopher Walt.
A celebration of Dick's life will be held on Saturday, May 1, at 1:00pm at Terry and Patti Walt's house at 3224 109th St. SE, Everett, WA.
