Our little brother, uncle and dear friend, Mr. Ed, went to be with his parents, Evelyn Sheen, Richard Sheen and sister, Elizabeth Helm in Heaven on November 14, 2020. He is singing with the company of angels, where pain and suffering are no more. Surviving him are his sisters Pamela DeLisa (Dr Eugene), Rebecca Todd (Brad), nieces Emily Hall (Carter), Miranda and Mercedes, brother-in-law Charles Helm, many dear friends and his devoted dog Petra. Born in Dallas in 1967, He graduated Bishop Lynch HS and attended Texas Tech. Ed had a great bass voice, which he shared with friends, his church and as a member of the Turtle Creek Chorale. He worked in the Dallas food service industry many years as a waiter and chef. Many remember his years at Caf? Pacific. Ed, a born actor, delighted friends with his culinary skills and impersonations. His family, worshipping God in church and singing in the choir were everything, from growing up at Church of the Incarnation to Chapel of the Cross. He was a beloved member of both.
Because of the sharp rise in COVID hospitalizations, there will only be a graveside funeral at Restland for the family. Ed had a rare blood type and gave blood often. If you wish to honor him, please consider donating blood or making a contribution to the SPCA, or a charity you think Ed would like.
