Richard F. Dreyer, 77, of Cary, NC passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2022, after a long illness.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Kathleen (Kelly) Dreyer, his sons Ricky and Gregg, daughter-in-law
Evelyn (Lozada) and the joys of his life, his grandchildren Esme, Declan and Finnley.
Rich was born to Anne and Herb Dreyer in Hoboken, NJ where he was raised with his four brothers: Herb
(Mary) Stratford, CT; Paul (Marilyn) Falmouth, MA; Tom (Annmarie) Barnegat, NJ; Jerry (Debbie) Leonia,
NJ. He attended St. Michael's High School in Union City, NJ and St. Peter's College in Jersey City, NJ
where he excelled as an athlete, especially on the basketball court. After graduating, he was employed
by IBM where he worked in various locations in NY, NJ and NC before retiring in 2005.
Family was very important to Rich, and he was surrounded by a large and loving one including his 4
brothers, 9 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, 22 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children, and a
family of friends whose love and support are immeasurable.
The family would be honored if donations to your favorite charity were made in Rich's memory.
Visitation will be at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary on Wednesday, July 27, 4:00-6:00pm.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Cary on Thursday, July 28 at 11:00am
