Richard (Dick) Dale Cline Sr. , 85 Aug 11, 1935 - Sep 28, 2020 Richard (Dick) Dale Cline, Sr., 85, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Fahrney Keedy in Boonsboro.
Born August 11, 1935 in Frederick County, MD, he was the son of the late Woodrow Hauver and Emma Jane (Lewis) Cline.
Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Louise Cline, on December 31, 2019.
He retired from Jamison Door Company. He was a member of Garfield United Methodist Church. He loved to go deer hunting and fishing.
Dick is survived by his daughter, Debra Hardin and her husband, Jimmy, of Hagerstown; two sons, Richard "Rick" Dale Cline, Jr. and his wife, Cathy, of Falling Waters, WV, and Shawn Robert Cline and his wife, Judy, of Williamsport, MD; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Basil Cline.
The funeral service will be held 1pm on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Mary Ricketts and Rev. Betty D. Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Garfield United Methodist Church Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are required.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 6-8pm.
