Richard A. Checca, 71, of Mount Lebanon, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Darlene F. Stabile Checca; loving father of Tracy (Steve) Sweeney; beloved son of the late Roland and Mary Levi Checca; loving brother of Roland (Sheila) Checca and Tim (Tammi) Checca; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Richard was a coal miner before becoming owner of Presto Automotive for 41 years and was a crazy Steelers fanatic. Rich will be remembered for his laughter and sense of humor.
Family and friends welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22, in the William Slater II Funeral Service (412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, PA 15220, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23. Entombment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
