Richard Allen Brown

Richard Allen Brown of Rockdale County unexpectedly died on Thursday July 31st, 2025.

Richard is survived by his wife Patricia (Pat) Brown, his sons Timothy Brown, Tony Brown, Rick Brown, and Lee Gray; thirteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren with more on the way.

Richard was an officer with the Atlanta Police Department with assignments ranging from auto theft to the metro fugitive squad.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Max Hill officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, August 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
