Passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 80. Son of the late Irwin and Eldora (Hogenson) Alby. Brother of the late Shirley Crabtree. Loving dad of Deanna (Holger) Sommerfeld and Karin White (Pat Morris.) Also survived by his ex-wife, Carolyn Wohlbedacht, 2 grandchildren, Robyn and Brendan White, a niece, Andrea McConnell and a nephew, Chad Crabtree. He served 4 years in the USAF as a radar technician. He was part owner of R&R TV in Ackerville. Later in life he was a tender of the Menasha Lock. His free time was spent building and repairing things, hunting and practicing his marksmanship. His greatest passion in life was sailing. He built his first boat. After upsizing a couple times to a Tartan 27, he sailed to the Bahamas and back, twice! He will be greatly missed by family and the many friends he made throughout his life. No services are planned.
