Rochester, NH- Reverend Dwight V. Meader,95, of 71 Estes Rd died November 21,2019, at Colonial Hill, surrounded by his family.
Dwight was born on February 12,1924 in Rochester, NH. He is the daughter of Albert and Florence (Scruton) Meader
Dwight was a lifetime resident of Rochester and wherever he had a church he would call home. Some of the churches he pastored at were Hudson NH, Alton, Whales MA and a brief time in Standish ME. He was a member of the Humane Lodge #21 F&AM, he served as the Chaplin in the Grand Lodge of NH. Dwight served as a volunteer firefighter in Alton and drovea school bus. He was also a substitute school teacher in Hudson and Pelham School district. He also served as the camp director at Camp Sentinel in Tuftonboro NH. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and farming. He loved his family very much.
He is predeceased by his wife Lois (McKechnie) Meader in 2011
Dwight is survived by his sons; Alan and wife Monica of Comerford, Co, Glen and wife Jennifer of Littleton, Co. Daughters; Elaine Hebert and husband Philip of Keene, Karen and partner Douglas Andrews of Gilmanton, Jocelyn and Edward Hawkins of Belmont, sister Edith. Nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren with one on the way, and many nieces and nephews. Dwight is predeceased by her son, Stephen Meader, a brother, Leon Meader and a sister, Alice Leola.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday December 5th from 5-7pm with a Masonic ceremony to be held at 6:30 in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867.
A Memorial Service will be help on Friday, December 6,2019 at 1:00 at Crown Point Baptist Church, 274 First Crown Point Rd, Strafford, NH 03884.
Burial will be in the New Riverside Cemetery, Spring of 2020 in Alton
