Reuben Jacob Sironen was born 6/20/32 in Ewen, MI to Emil & Maria Sironen who immigrated to the US from Finland. He was baptized 8/28/32 at First Lutheran Church by Rev. F.W. Kaskinen & confirmed on 6/20/48 by Rev. A.J. Korhonen. He married Beverly Kubasch on 7/1/61 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, CA officiated by Rev. Hilton Schlecht. He graduated from Ewen High School & from Michigan Technical University (Chemistry). He worked at Argonne National Laboratory, General Electric Vallecitos Nuclear Center, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and EG&G Rocky Flats Plant. He moved to Boulder, CO in 1970 & was a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church for 34 years. He was active in the International Lutheran Laymen's League & Lutheran Hour Ministries. In 2004 he moved to Highlands Ranch & became a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Reuben went to Finland on 2 occasions to visit ancestral relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers (Reino, Matthew, Alex & Eli) and sisters (Hilda, Saima, Ruth, Senia & Gertrude). One sister & one brother died as infants. He is survived by his daughter Ania and son Joel (Denise). He has 3 grandsons Jack, Alex & Charlie. Please donate to The Lutheran Hour or Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He will be buried next to his wife Beverly in Winsted, MN.
