Rena Sherrill Doolin, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She was born November 24, 1973, in Danville, VA to Richard and Susan Sherrill.
Rena was a loving mother to her three daughters. She had a giving heart; she would help anyone who asked. She loved hair, makeup, and fashion. She was so full of happiness, no matter what she had a smile on her face. The fire in her soul is so unforgettable.
In addition to her parents, she survived by her daughters, Lauren Reynolds Powell (Brandon), Kendall Gauldin Williams (Hunter), and Emma Doolin; grandchildren, Dawson Onnie, Ivy Jane (on the way); brother, Chris Sherrill (Jen).
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, O.B. Barbour and Loretta Barbour.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville, VA 24541 with Pastor Mike Hearp officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2022, at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel. At other times the family will receive friends at the Powell residence.
