Ren? Martin Daigle, 57 returned to the Lord on Saturday June 19, 2021 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Ren? born November 13, 1963, to Louis J. Daigle and Kathleen M.(Deschaine) Daigle, was the eighth of nine children. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Joseph (Tommy) Daigle. He is survived by two brothers; Mark Daigle(Karen) of Cheshire, MA and Jeano Daigle(Colleen) of Becket, MA and five sisters; Emma Daigle of Gt. Barrington, MA, Carol Namiot (Butch) of Otis, MA, Anita Sinico of Canaan, CT, Janet Kane(Gary Tenney) of Conway, SC, and Claudette Litchfield(Brian) of Sandisfield, MA.
Ren? was a very happy, sweet, affectionate little boy who grew into a man who retained those qualities and developed a quirky sense of humor that would often surprise us. At family gatherings, he enjoyed watching his eleven nieces and nephews playing in the backyard and being with Dad and his brothers watching football. He loved music and would create his own compositions on his Casio keyboard. He especially loved his cat, Monkey, mom's home cooking, and Christmas with the glitter of lights and the magic of Santa.
Ren? had been a client with Berkshire County ARC for over forty years. During that time he lived in three group homes; first the Buel Street House, then West House, and finally, at Kowchuk House. No matter where he lived and who lived or worked with him, Ren? was always loved. He enjoyed day programs, going out for coffee or McDonald's, shopping at 5 Below or Target, dinners, special events, and dances with his many friends in the BCARC community. We, as a family, cannot say enough to express our gratitude and appreciation to all the wonderful people who cared for and loved our brother, Ren?. There are far too many to name. We know he was respected, cared for, safe, and loved. Thank you.
We also would like to thank the staff at BMC and Hospice Care of the Berkshires for their care and concern for our brother.
Funeral services for Ren? M. Daigle will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Ren?'s memory may be made to BCARC or St. Peter's Building Fund in care of the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South St. Great Barrington MA 01230.
