Regina (Symolon) Ciss, 95, of Southington, passed away on December 23, 2020. Regina was a retired manager at Viking Aluminum in New Britain, and a former long-time volunteer at The Orchards in Southington. Deeply devoted to her faith, family, and friends, Regina enjoyed nothing more than an early lunch with her friends and family after Mass. She is survived by her daughters: Diane Peaslee of Plainville, and Debra (William) Nealon of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; her granddaughter Kristina (John) Mattie of Berlin; her sister, Joanne Uliasz of Southington, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Regina is preceded in death by her husband, Sigmund; her son James; and her siblings: Helen, Florence and Chester. The family is grateful for the dedicated and hardworking staff at Southington Care Center and the Franciscan Nuns for their compassion and support of Regina during this difficult time. Funeral and burial will be private, with a memorial to take place at a later date. The Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain are in care of arrangements. Please consider a memorial donation in Regina's name to The Southington Library and Museum and please keep her and her family in your prayers.
