Rebecca M. Henry Williams of Leesburg, FL, 82, died unexpectedly on May 25, 2022. She was born on July 26, 1939 to the late Clifford L. and Hettie (Crum) Henry of Lawrence County, PA where she lived until retirement when she moved to Central FL. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by Harold F. Williams whom she married on July 28, 1979. In addition she is preceded by her sister Ella Mae Clover and stepson Fred Williams. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen McConnell (Paul) of New Castle, PA, a son, Sam Kildoo (Kristi), three granddaughters and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two nieces, three nephews, four great nieces, and two great nephews. She is also survived by five step-daughters, Marcia (Alan) Gwin, Sondra (Fred) Martin, Brenda (Russ) Milliken, Kathleen (Chris) Wier, Christine McQuiston, and one step daughter-in-law, Phyllis Williams. She is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams is a 1957 graduate of Mt. Jackson High School. She earned degrees from Bloomsburg State College, Bloomsburg, PA and Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. She was a business education teacher at Neshannock High School (1961-1966) and Mohawk Area High School (1976-1991). In 1969, she taught in the Business Education Teacher Training program at Westminster College. After having graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Pittsburgh, PA, she became a licensed funeral director in the State of Pennsylvania and spent 16 years in funeral service. As a volunteer, she served as Deacon and Sunday School and Bible School teacher at Westfield Presbyterian Church, Lawrence Co, PA. In Lady Lake, FL she served at North Lake Presbyterian Church as a Stephen Minister, facilitator of an encouragement group for widowed persons, devotional leader of a Sunday School class, and Bible study teacher of a women's circle. She enjoyed digital photography and scrapbooking, Bible study, and planning social functions for her friends and family. She was a member of Kus Kus Ka Chapter of the daughters of the American Colonists and active with the Red Hat Ladies and a writer's guild. At the request of Mrs. Williams, there will be no visitation or memorial service. Cremation is being handled by the Florida Cremation Society.
