Rebecca Ewing (Blake) Loar of Lawrenceville, Georgia, died June 28, 2022, after a long illness. Referred to as Becky, she was born in Ashland, Kentucky on January 30, 1952, to James E and Rebecca E Blake who preceded her in death. Becky graduated from Catlettsburg (Ky) High School in 1970. She attended Ashland Community College and the University of Kentucky graduating in 1974. She went on to teach biology at Morton Jr. High in Lexington, Kentucky, Putnam Jr. High in Ashland, Kentucky and Boyd County (KY) High School. She moved with her husband to metro Atlanta in 1979, where she began a very successful real estate career retiring in 2012 after receiving many state and national awards. She is survived by her husband Brad Loar of Lawrenceville, Georgia, son Christopher Loar, daughter in law Ari Loar, grandson Tyler Loar and granddaughter Logan Loar all of St. Petersburg, Florida. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
