Real R. Pinard, 94, died August 26, 2024 at Community Hospice House following a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on January 26, 1930 the son of Willie and Berthe (Lambert) Pinard.
He was a salesman for Eastside Beverages, he was a real estate broker for many years, helped purchase property for the 93 highway expansion, worked for State of NH as a toll gate attendant and he also owned and operated Real Friendly Corner Store.
He served his country in the National Guard.
He was a longtime Alderman of Ward 8, and held membership in Crimeline, Fire prevention, Knights of Columbus 4th degree and League of One Thousand Men of Sisters of Precious Blood Monastery.
Family members include his loving wife, Joan (Pare) Pinard , one son; Joseph Pinard, one granddaughter; Samantha (Pinard) Pearl, all of Manchester, one great granddaughter Luna Herling, two step grandchildren; Vickie and Alan Boilard, a step granddaughter Alanna Tetro, two sisters in law; Claudette Fucci of Georgia, Susan Samon (husband Peter) of Manchester, and several nephews and one niece.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11 am in St. Anthony Church, Belmont St.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St, Manchester, NH 03104. Thanks to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack for the wonderful care they gave to Real.
