Rose-Mann Chapel
Raynald L. Bordelon passed quietly on January 13, 2024. He was born in New Orleans, LA on April 7, 1943 to Ruth Elaine Barrios and Byron B. Bordelon Jr. As a Math major graduate from LSUNO, his career as an outside plant engineer gave him a lot of satisfaction. Ray loved meeting people in his community and helping them out. He proudly served in the Marine Corp as a navigator in F-4 during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Captain. He was very talented as a handyman and could fix nearly anything. He is preceded in death by his parents, younger brother Kevon Bordelon, and daughter Jessica Bordelon. His wife, Dianne Couvillon Bordelon and daughter, Raye-Anne Ayo, brothers Byron Bordelon III, Leighton Bordelon, Darryl Bordelon and sister Andrea Bordelon Masterson still survive. Visitation and a mass will be held on January 27, 2024 8:30 am at Greenwood Cemetery Chapel on Canal Blvd NOLA with his interment following the mass celebration.
