Raymond E. Stocklin, 90, of Greensburg, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Major Hospital. Born December 3, 1929 in Morristown, he was the son of John and Delsey (Young) Stocklin. He married Jacqueline Stocklin on March 17, 1949 and she preceded him in death in 2015.
Survivors include sons Greg Stocklin of Indianapolis, and Doug (Wife Jane) Stocklin of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Clinton (wife Lezlie) Stocklin of St. Paul, and Jordan (Wife Kendra) Stocklin of Greenwood. He also is survived by two great grandchildren: Nathan Stocklin, and Garrett Stocklin both of St. Paul. Mr. Stocklin was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
He was a lifetime resident of this area, where he worked as a self employed farmer. He graduated from Boggstown High School in 1947, and served in the US Army. He was a member of the Union Chapel United Methodist Church in St. Paul.
Raymond enjoyed watching sports, playing softball, golf, and bowling, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Graveside services will be observed on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 1pm, at Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County, with Rev. Joyce Barker officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Union Chapel Church in care of the funeral home.
