Raymond (Buddy) Perkins Born in North East, MD October 28, 1947 died May 17, 2024 awaiting surgery in Christiana Hospital DE. Father, mentor, outdoorsman,with many rewarding hobbies including bow hunting, fishing and gardening. Before retirement he worked hard for Daisy Construction Co as a laborer and full-time truck driver.
He enjoyed watching all sports and played Nationals in little league as a child. Buddy proudly had many lifetime long friends,enjoyed time at North East Community Park, classic cars, and good music.
He will always be remembered for his witty humor even during the hardest of times and made everyone in the room feel heard and not forgotten. Predeceased by his wife of 48yrs in 2021 Debra Perkins. Sister Ada Shelley, Brother (Sam) Wallace Perkins Mother Ella Mae Perkins and Father Wallace Samuel Perkins. Survived by Daughter Mary Coates and her Husband William. Son Matthew Perkins his Wife Shannon. Grandchildren Ayla Coates, Raegan, Riley and Harper Perkins. Sisters Sarah Vermilyea, Rose Combs, Kathy VanLill, Terri Perkins. Brothers Mark, and John Perkins. Not to forget my Parents 25 yr. old cat "Gussy."
Celebration of life will be held at the Elkton Moose Lodge Sunday June 30th, 2024 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Moose Lodge and or native trees to be planted in honor of Buddy Perkins.
