Mr. Ray A. Rowe, age 87 of Ellijay, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
Mr. Rowe was born in Greenville, GA (Merriweather County), the son of Alexander and Sarah Rowe. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Ann in 2012.
He is survived by his son Nelson Rowe and daughter in-law, Elizabeth of Jasper. His daughter, Judith Maurer and son in-law Jeff from Smyrna, GA. His brother, Ken Rowe and Nancy from Acworth, GA and his sister Joyce Simpson and Bill from Canton, GA. Grandchildren include: Hannah Garland, Ty Rowe, Sailor Rowe, Genevieve Rowe, Heather Hoffman and Dustin Maurer. Great Grandchildren: Bowie Garland, Johnny Garland, and Peyton Hanley.
Ray graduated from Mercer University College of Divinity School and worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Memory Garden at Kennesaw Memorial Park 1306 Whitlock Ave. in Marietta.
