Randolph "Randy" Tucker Minor of Asheville, NC, passed away at his home in Asheville on January 16, 2021, at the age of 41.
Randy was born in Charlotte, NC, to Mildred "Mimi" McDonald Rees and William Thomas Minor III on May 17, 1979. He is preceded in death by his father. Randy is survived by his mother, step-father Fred Rees, and his siblings William Minor IV, Julia Tarr, Scott Rees, Johnathan Minor and Samuel Hart. Randy is lovingly remembered by his uncles, aunts, cousins, brother in-law, sister in-law, nieces, nephew and friends.
Randy was a special light in this world. He was generous and loving to all, and his resilient, larger-than-life spirit brought smiles to those who knew him. Randy's mind was always creating, dreaming and firing on all cylinders. He courageously battled multiple, complex medical issues all his life. Now he is at peace. Randy was a caring son, brother, and uncle. He was always on the move, and he loved rock and roll, naval history and bicycles. Randy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
