Randall K. (Randy) Moore, age 67 passed away peacefully at his home in Knoxville, Tennessee surrounded by his loving family.
Preceded by his parents, Deward & Ruby Moore and brother, Robert (Bob) Moore.
Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Debra J. (Helsel) Moore; his beloved daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Owen, Ethan and Kyra; brother, DJ and wife Jean with their children, David & Jennifer; twin brother, Dan and wife Judith with their children, Tiffani and John; late brother Bob's children, Kristi, Gretchen and Bobby; beloved mother-in-law, Doris J. Helsel; sisters-in-law, Darlene & Patty and brothers-in-law, Tom and Doug.
Randy was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and was an athletic standout with the Richland High School championship football and basketball teams from 1968 to 1972. He played football at Arizona State University and achieved All-American in 1976. He was also drafted to the NFL by the Denver Broncos.
Randy was a gentle giant with a great sense of humor and a heart of benevolence.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Parkwest Church of God (7635 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville TN 37909). A service will follow at 7:00pm with Dr. Gerald McGinnis officiating.
