Help us celebrate Randall! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Randall.
Randall Joseph Barrette, 55, of New Hartford, NY passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on the morning of April 9, 2022, after a very short battle with cancer.
Randy was born in Warwick, RI on June 29, 1966, and had fond memories of his time there. He spent his later teenage years in Florida before moving to Upstate NY. He graduated from Herkimer College as an electrician and plumber and was a longtime valued employee of Tom Allard.
Randy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed being in nature through camping, kayaking, and fishing, and especially roaming the woods with his wife Dottie, in search of mushrooms or random treasures. He was always tinkering with electronics and old radios, which he used to listen to music that always brought a smile to his face. Randy could not resist dancing to the tunes of The Old Main and saw as many of their concerts as he could. He also had a fondness of Autocrat Coffee Syrup, which is nearly impossible to find in Upstate NY, so he relied on his second mom Rinda, to ship it from RI. Randy will be dearly missed and always remembered.
Randy was predeceased by his mother Shirley Fisk Barrette. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Yule Barrette; siblings Richard Barrette of West Winfield, NY, David (Carol) Barrette of North Kingston, NY, Judy (Mark) Malowka of Rockledge, FL and Steven Barrette of Warwick, RI; other beloved family include Richard and Virginia Yule, Debbie and Ted Holk, Dave and Sandie Yule, Diana and Keith Cariani, Dan and Jamie Yule, Daphne and Jeremy Bialecki Darlene Yule and Ilene Frank, Doug and Brittany Casale, Steve and Mae Casale, five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his second mom, Rinda Meunier.
Randy's family and friends are requested to join in a Celebration of Life on June 25, 2022 at the home of Dottie Barrette. In lieu of flowers, share a glass of Autocrat coffee milk or a Long Island iced tea with someone you love.
