Randall (Randy) Lee Andrus, 63, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on January 19, 2021. Randy was born in Springfield, Missouri in September of 1957 to Betty (Mooneyham) and Raymond Andrus. Randy graduated from Billings High School in 1975 in Billings, Missouri. He began working at Kraft Foods in Springfield at the age of 18 where he grew with the company and traveled the States until retiring in 2015. Randy was an avid motorcycle rider and loved to travel. He enjoyed years of waterskiing and competitive knee boarding. He was the biggest fan of the Chiefs and Cardinals; you'd almost always find him in red. He was especially fond of his pets Harley and Ruby. Randy never met a stranger and so many were blessed to call him a friend. Randy is preceded in death by both parents, Betty Spencer and Raymond Andrus; brother, Greg Andrus; uncles, Ralph (Katie) Andrus, Jay Mooneyham, Richard Mooneyham and Steven Gilmore; aunts, Martha Luce and Jolene Jaracke. Randy is survived by long-time love, Tamara Tumy of Jacksonville; son, Kristopher (Crystal) Andrus and three grandchildren of Kansas City; stepfather, Jim (Joyce) Spencer of Springfield; stepmother, Joann Andrus of Republic; aunts, Earlene (Leo) Nelson of Billings, Mary Raney of Fair Grove, Linda Brown of Republic, Sybil Ryan of Republic and Elizabeth Brake of Springfield; cousins, Duane Andrus and Diane Andrus Turano of Springfield; nephew, Tony Cole of Ozark and many other family and friends to cherish his memory. At this time, the family has opted to postpone celebration of life proceedings. Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home is proud to serve the family.
