Randal "Randy" Eric Carter

Johnsonville, SC Randall Eric Carter,63, passed from this earthly life on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Born on October 12, 1959, he was the son of Zebb Lindy and Carol Wilson Carter. He is survived by his wife Debra Jones Carter of Johnsonville, SC; his mother Carol Carter; his brothers, Jeffrey Carter (Joyce) and Doug Carter; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Sue Arnone, Becky Kassis (Raymond) Julie Apperman (Marc), Connie Perkins (Andy); brothers-in-law, Norman Jones (Dixie) and Sammy Jones (Cheryl); and many beloved nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his father, Zebb Carter and his brothers-in-law, Buck Jones and Bill Arnone. Mr. Carter was a 1977 graduate of Winnsboro High School and a 1981 graduate of Lander College. His work experience included The Pantry, Inc. and Johnsonville State Bank in Johnsonville, SC which merged to become The Citizens Bank in Olanta, SC. Randy enjoyed yard work, hunting, and fishing, taking care of his beloved chickens and cats, traveling, watching football, and cooking. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnsonville Police Dept., PO Box 428, Johnsonville, SC 29555. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff of the Charleston Medical University of South Carolina's 5th Floor AICU for their compassionate care and expertise in the last days of Randy's Life. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2022 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
