Ramona Ann Beese Brune of Lawton, Oklahoma, a cherished mother, devoted wife, and the heart of her family, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2023. Her life, a tapestry of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication, illuminated the lives of all who knew her.
Born on June 2, 1944 in Enid, Oklahoma, Ramona grew up with her parents and sister in the small town of Waukomis, Oklahoma. Ramona epitomized grace and compassion in every facet of her being. Her warmth was a beacon that radiated through her roles as a loving mother and supportive partner to her husband, Paul Brune. Together, they sculpted a home filled with love, laughter, and boundless affection.
Ramona's devotion to her children, Andrea Wagnon and Darren Brune, was a testament to her unwavering love. Her nurturing spirit and wise guidance shaped them into the remarkable individuals they are today. She found joy in every milestone, celebrating their achievements and offering unwavering support through life's challenges.
Her days were painted with the strokes of homemaking artistry, turning the house into a haven of comfort and warmth. Ramona's culinary prowess, with aromas wafting from the kitchen, brought the family together, creating cherished memories around the dinner table.
Beyond her family, Ramona was a pillar of strength and a beacon of compassion to friends and neighbors. Her kindness knew no bounds, extending a helping hand and a listening ear to those in need, making an indelible impact on the lives she touched.

Ramona is preceded in death by her father Earl Gustav Beese and mother Mara Louise Burt Beese. She is survived by her husband, Paul Wayne Brune; daughter, Andrea Brune Wagnon (husband John and daughter Mara); son Darren Brune (Florence Burk and niece Breanna); sister, Patricia Jane Beese Ford (husband Steve, daughters Jennifer and Lisa); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

A private celebration of life will be held for Ramona on January 20, 2024 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
