Robert Rey Garcia
Ramon Zamudio Montes, 72, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 16, 2022.
Ramon was born on July 7, 1950 in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico to Librada Z. Montes and Ramon V. Montes. He was a resident of Ventura County for 57 years. Ramon attended Ventura High School and Ventura College where he received a mechanic certification. He worked at Saticoy Foods Corporation for 10+ years as a Supervisor and owned his own janitorial company, Reliance Cleaning Service for 40 years.
Ramon was a wonderful man who always put his family first. He was a hard worker and everything he did was for his family. He was a great example to his children that with hard work and perseverance, you can accomplish your goals and dreams. He enjoyed going to Dodger games where he ate his favorite food - hot dogs, enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a great sense of humor.
Ramon is survived by his wife of 51 years Ofelia Montes, daughter Ofelia Flores, son Ramon Montes, son Enrique Montes, sister Maria Murillo, grandchildren Hannah Rose Flores, Jezabelle Montes and Athen Montes, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to thank the Heavenly Gates Hospice, Inc. staff for their compassion and care for Ramon.
A Rosary will begin at 9:30am on Friday, August 26th, 2022 with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 427 North Oak Street, Santa Paula, CA 93060. Interment to follow at Pierce Brother's Santa Paula Cemetery.
