Ramon Gonzales passed away on January 7, 2021 after a courageous struggle with Covid-19. He was born in Dallas, TX in 1960 to Ramon O. Gonzales and Eva Gonzales.
After graduating from Carter High School, Ramon received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University. He went on to receive a Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Wesleyan. During the 1980s Ramon worked in the accounting department at TXU. Ramon transitioned over to his wife's law practice in 1995 where they enjoyed working together for the past 25 years.
He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and agitating the family dog, Tex. He greatly loved music and enjoyed playing the drums and guitar. A gentle spirit, Ramon was a faithful Christian. He and his family were long time members at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Dallas.
Ramon is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Elsa (Torres) Gonzales. They married September 1983 in New Braunfels, TX. He is also survived by two children: Jonathan Gonzales and Edye Gonzales. He is also survived by his sister Mercedes Garcia and husband Joe Garcia as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
