Ralph T. Mazzaccaro, 65, died on Friday, January 8th, 2021 at Midstate hospital surrounded by his loving family after a courageous fight with complications from diabetes. Born in Southington, CT, he was predeceased by his parents Ralph W. Mazzaccaro & Violet Reardon. He graduated from Southington High School and worked until his retirement in 2020 in the field of sheet metal fabrication. Ralph was a simple man who found joy in the simple things in life: rocking out to The Who, Pink Floyd, or Jethro Tull, spending time with his dogs, eating good food, the sound of his Harley running the way it should, or seeing the Steelers win a game. Ralph was best known for his love of family. He was happiest when he was with his children. One of his greatest joys was the day he became a grandpa for the first time. We will miss the days of celebrating these milestones with him that his children will achieve along the way, but we know he will continue to watch over them with a big smile on his face from the other side.
Ralph leaves behind his daughter, Tiffany Mazzaccaro of Torrance, California and his sons, Daniel Mazzaccaro (Christina Koniecki his fiancee) of Meriden, Thomas Mazzaccaro of South Meriden, and Matthew (Mariya) of Portland, Maine, grandson Aaron Mazzaccaro of Meriden, his two brothers and their families William and Allen Mazzacaro & his friend and former wife,Tammy Mazzaccaro Hoffman.
Due to the current pandemic, the burial will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home 88 E. Main St., Meriden. For online condolences, visit jferryfh.com
